Uncharted Magazine Cinematic Story Contest

I just submitted a re-write of my story, In Time of Roses, to Uncharted Magazine’s Cinematic Story Contest! Yay!

My story follows a Seattle widower, Elliot Mercer, in a dystopian future where his wife, Talulah, remains clinically incapacitated. Elliot — aided by an administrative robot named Titchy — must obtain a medical directive before the state intervenes with his wife’s care.

It’s a love story that explores themes centering around humanity, end-of-life decisions, personal autonomy and agency, and technology's role in death.
