Australia’s Furious Fiction is at it again!
This month, the prompts were:
Your story must take place at a beach.
Your story must describe at least two smells, two sounds and two textures.
Your story must include the words KISS, HABIT and SQUARE.
My story takes place on the misty modern-day Oregon coastline.
Emma helps Dan, her ex-husband, remember their life and relationship following a stroke.
The story is patterned after a real-life situation where a partner of mine’s former love had a stroke and lost many of the memories surrounding their relationship. It was a gut-wrenching experience for my partner to fill in the gaps and help their former love through recovery.
We’ll see how it goes! Fingers crossed!
