My story, Treasure of the Jade Dragon, was picked up by Northwest Independent Writer’s Association’s 2024 print Anthology, Illusion.

Thank you so much, NIWA!

Globe Soup circulated a 48-hour 600-word contest. Participants had the choice of five mash-up genres on the theme of transformation.

I wrote my Urban + Fairy Tale submission over the weekend, and honoring the terms, I can’t say much about it or identify my work, but I look forward to telling you more about it after it’s been scored!

Stay tuned!

It’s Monday, February 12, 2024. The results are in, and my story, Treasure of the Jade Dragon, didn’t land with the judges.

I still think it’s a good story and can be reworked and submitted elsewhere. Looks like I’ve got some work ahead of me!
