This week, I submitted a 500-word flash fiction story to the Globe Soup Inspired by Art Flash Fiction Challenge!

My story, Trampled, revolves around picture twenty-one in the competition.

Henry’s eagerly acquainted with Vanessa’s boots, but there’s always a price to be paid in the shadows. It’s a dark story of sex, dominance, and power, delivering a surprise twist in the end that hopefully amounts to a compelling read.

We’ll see how it does! Fingers crossed!
